Progress

The Progress flag was designed in 2017 by non-binary graphic designer Daniel Quasar. This variation of the original rainbow flag contains a wedge on the left in colors of the Trans Pride flag and in brown and black, the colors of the marginalized communities. This wedge, which is directed in the direction in which the flag swings, symbolizes that there is still a lot of progress ahead of us. Through the colors, special attention should be paid to trans people and blacks and other people of color. In addition, the black stripe should also represent those who live with AIDS and the associated stigma or have died from it.
